Throughout his exploration and career, Aly quenched his passion and honed his experience, swarming through the triad of Cinematography, Storytelling and Engineering.

In 2014, He joined the Cinematography Department of the High Institute of Cinema in Cairo. Aly found his way in the high-end filmmaking industry, working in several projects from feature films, TV series and TVCs.

In 2016, Aly found a sweet spot that checks all his passions co-founding zest, a food content production house. Handling the helm of production, started and developed the product from the very beginning starting from the pilot video to building and managing teams to develop a wide-variety of content formats.

During his journey with zest, he developed a broad culinary palette, collaborating with a wide array of industry professionals and enthusiasts. His adaptability allowed him to meet the creative needs of everyone he worked with, from amateurs to homecooks, food bloggers, celebrities, culinary enthusiasts, and professional chefs.

Aly seized the chance to delve into the realm of food-as-a-storytelling-medium, exploring a plethora of visual engineering aspects and summoning the maker inside, from building simple rigs with LEGO to a more advanced systems using pneumatics, electronics and digital fabrication tools to create mouth-watering stories.
